Craftworks is a specialist production partner for acoustic and decorative interior solutions.
We combine precise technology with the work of experienced craftspeople. We produce standard collections, design-led solutions and fully custom constructions made to order.
We cut, mill, laminate, upholster and combine PET felt with other materials such as leather, MDF and metal.
You can come to us with a finished technical drawing or with a first idea. We will help develop a solution that looks right, can be made, and is prepared for straightforward installation.

Not every project can be solved with a standard product.
Our production capacity lets architects and designers create non-standard sizes, patterns, material combinations and fixing methods without losing control of quality or of whether the project can actually be made.
We look at the concept, advise on materials and construction, make samples or prototypes, and then develop an effective way to produce it.
The original design intent stays intact, and the finished solution is practical to manufacture, transport and install.

SOUND DETOX – Paris Design Week and GLUE Amsterdam 2025
Paris and Amsterdam
SOUND DETOX is a spatial acoustic installation presented during Paris Design Week 2025 and later at GLUE Amsterdam 2025.
The concept was a response to noise, the pace of modern life and the overload of stimuli typical of contemporary cities. Visitors stepped through distinctive circular doors into a quiet interior, where form, light and carefully chosen materials created a sense of calm and a break from the surroundings.
At Craftworks we produced the complete wall fit-out — from the supporting structure to the circular passages and finishing elements. The interior uses, among other things, MDF slats upholstered in leather, acoustic felt panels and elements that combine felt with leather. Varied textures and spatial forms absorbed sound and gave the installation an elegant, sensory character.
SOUND DETOX showed that acoustic solutions can be more than a functional part of an interior. They can be its most important architectural element.

Maison&Objet 2025 – Paris, France
Paris, France
For the stand shown at Maison&Objet 2025 in Paris we made custom display elements that bring together acoustics, design and hand craft.
We used spatial panels in acoustic felt, decorative forms in leather and pieces made specifically for this display. Different textures, colours and materials created a coherent, distinctive space that drew attention and showed how widely felt and leather can be used in contemporary interiors.
The project combined precise production with hand finishing. It showed that a trade-fair stand can be more than a place to present products. It can be a full-scale installation built on material, detail and the experience of the space.

EXCELLENT Woonbeurs 2025 – Rotterdam, the Netherlands
Rotterdam, the Netherlands
At EXCELLENT Woonbeurs 2025 in Rotterdam we made a decorative wall from two layers of acoustic felt in shades of green. The piece was part of a larger exhibition presenting materials and solutions for luxury interiors. The fair took place at Rotterdam Ahoy.
The wall is built from two precisely cut layers of felt, laid one over the other. That gave the surface a clear depth and a spatial character, and supported the acoustic comfort of the room. The intense green drew the eye and became a strong element of the whole setting.
The project showed that acoustic felt can do more than a practical job. It can be a striking decorative material, used for individual patterns and multi-layer compositions. The stand was created in collaboration with, among others, the studio of Hans Kuijten.
